A possible relationship in the future..need advice?

I live an hour away from my crush of 7 years and we have finaly found each other via e-mail. We have passed eath other often at random stores and at work. Thru e-mail he told me he has also had a crush, soooo my deal is, is it real on his side as well, he says he feels the same way, But who really knows..right?!. So some one out there in the same situation..what would be a sublte question to give him to know if he is legit and not just playing me to get a five second thrill all over his laptop...A possible relationship in the future..need advice?
Make sure he knows you are in it for a serious relationship and not for a cheap thrill
