Long distance relationship- please, i need advice?

ok let me explain the situation. i have a best friend that is in love with her boyfriend. i can tell-they are in love, no question about it. he is such a great guy, they are perfect for each other. anyways, he goes to college in Las Vegas, while we still live here, so now they have a long distance relationship. at first they used to talk on the phone, and it was fine. but the next time she will see her boyfriend is when he comes home for christmas. so for the last couple of days she has been sort of distant. like her mind is in a whole different world. my birthday was today and she still was a good friend and rememebered and things like that, but i can tell in the back of her mind she is still holding on to her sadness. i dont know what to do, she says that she misses him so much that she doesnt know what to do either. her boyfriend and i are very close as well, and he also asked me for advice. honestly, i dont know what to say or do to make her feel better about this situation. so my question is: do you have any idea's to make my friend feel better about this? idea's for me to do/say to her or for her boyfriend as well? maybe something romantic [but im not sure what you can do from half way across the country]. please, serious advice only. it truly hurts me to see my best friend this way and i dont know how to make her feel better-like a best friend should be able to do.Long distance relationship- please, i need advice?
I've been in a long distance relationship for a year and half and i know it's hard at times. They can't be physical, they can't hug or kiss or cuddle and it's incredibly tough to not have that.Tell them to focus on their relationship now and how much they love each other and want to be together. Think about it and talk about it and it'll most likely just put them in this bliss. The truth is long distance is really telling in a relationship...is it true or not? Only true love can survive long distance. They can make it, they just have to be willing to put in all the work.

If you need more help or your friends do i'm more than happy to offer advice. You can email me at courtneystille_21@hotmail.com. I know it's hard... But i'm available to talk any time.Long distance relationship- please, i need advice?
support her in her time of need. Tell her that she has to accept that her boyfriend is going to be away for a little bit. But explain to her that it is okay to miss her lover but not to take over her life not having someone to hold her when she needs. Tell her tha tyou'll be there for her if she needs help.
i have a friend int he same situation.and i helped him plan something really special for her.he used to ALWAYS sing to her.alllll the time.(idk if this is anything that guy ur takling about..but hey..its just an idea).but anyways...he would always sing.EVERYTHIGN.and he istn good at singing lol.so she was turning 17...so from the 17th day til her bday..every nigth.realy late...so she woudlnt answer...he would call her and leave a voicemail of him singing to her.lol.and then every morning she would wake up.and listen to it.and it really made her feel special.because he was so consistent with it.

just tell him ot remember...that going threw rough times makes a relationship stronger.and the little things make the biggest difference.

good luck
