What do you do when you like someone who you have to give advice to about a relationship?

I have a friend who I have feelings for..and he tells me about this person he had met and now I'm standing objectively to help him understand the whole thing. He was only looking for friends when I met him, but now he's ready to settle down and I wanna know who do you deal with knowing your feelings and having to help him out, and him not knowing I like him.What do you do when you like someone who you have to give advice to about a relationship?
Sit him down and tell him exactly how u feel about him! The best relationships in the world begin as friendship! Tell him how u feel. Let him know! Depending on how new the other relationship is, maybe it's time you tell him you're interested. Say it in a way so he knows his friendship is important to you, so if he wants to work it out with this other relationship, you'll still be a friend to him.
